Weekly cleaning at home

1. Soak in lukewarm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 15–20 minutes.
2. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush, especially under the stone.
3. Rinse with the sink plugged and dry with a lint-free cloth.

Avoid

• Bleach, chlorine and ammonia.
• Toothpaste and abrasive powders.
• Ultrasonic cleaners for emeralds, pearls or loose settings.

Daily habits and storage

Apply lotion and perfume before putting on jewellery, remove rings for sport and swimming, and store each piece separately in a lined box or pouch.

Annual check-up

Have prongs checked, jewellery professionally cleaned and white gold re-plated once a year. The first service is free for Yusra Diamond pieces.
