The right size matters as much as the stone. A loose ring can slip off, a tight one is uncomfortable, and some designs such as full-eternity rings are hard to resize.

1. Measure an existing ring

Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits: 15.9 mm ≈ TR 10, 16.5 mm ≈ TR 12, 17.2 mm ≈ TR 14, 17.8 mm ≈ TR 16, 18.5 mm ≈ TR 18, 19.1 mm ≈ TR 20.

2. Paper strip method

Wrap a 1 cm paper strip around the widest part of your finger (the knuckle), mark the overlap and measure the length — that is your circumference (50 mm ≈ TR 10, 52 mm ≈ TR 12, 54 mm ≈ TR 14, 56 mm ≈ TR 16).
